Requirements
Must:
- Associates Degree or equivalent relevant experience is required
- Preferred minimum of two (2) years supporting value-added customer solutions or inventory management programs
- Experience in troubleshooting hardware and/or software is preferred
- Required knowledge of MSC product lines/services and related experience
- Preferred minimum of two (2) years in general sales
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Organizational and time management capabilities
- Proficient electro/mechanical skills
- Effective problem-solving and situational adaptability skills
- Computer literacy and proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel 75%, including overnight
- Basic knowledge of and ability to use hand and power tools
- Capability to lift approximately 50 lbs. and work in various industrial environments
- Adherence to customer-specific safety requirements, such as wearing hardhats, safety glasses, and steel-toe shoes
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with MSC Sales Teams to drive substantial sales growth through solutions
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all MSC solutions, including bar-coded solutions, vending, and crib software
- Adhere to Salesforce protocols for project and time management
- Drive proficiencies in solutions discovery, recommendations, installations, onsite service, post-install support, supply chain optimization, fiscal responsibility, and cancellation support
- Ensure compliance with service level agreements to deliver excellent results
- Provide valuable feedback to management for continuous process enhancement
- Represent MSC Solutions at branch meetings and build partnerships with sales associates
- Support designated team objectives and performance metrics
- Follow all MSC policies and procedures as outlined in the associate handbook
- Participate in special projects and perform additional responsibilities as required
- Promote the MSC culture within the department and throughout the organization to ensure unity in purpose and fulfillment of MSCs mission
