Requirements
Must:
- Strong understanding of Multivalue and Relational Database Concepts
- Proficient in at least one of these programming languages: Unibasic or any other PICK related Language, System Builder, SBXA (multiple languages preferred)
- Familiarity with MS Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code using .NET C#, especially with UniObjects is an advantage
- Proficient in at least one of these database technologies: SQL (preferred), MySQL, Oracle, or other relational DB Management Systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to communicate complex logical reasoning effectively to support business and development decisions
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Flexibility to work varying hours based on departmental needs
- Capability to retain, recall, and apply complex information for decision-making
- Demonstrated understanding of custom written modules and their workflows
- Strong knowledge of business and manufacturing operations
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in IT or Software Development roles
- An associate degree or higher in a related field such as IT or Software Development
Responsibilities
- Enhance and support vendor-sourced quoting platforms and custom web and mobile applications across the MIWD enterprise
- Analyze, develop, modify, test, debug, and troubleshoot web and mobile enterprise applications with minimal documentation while integrating third-party DLLs and EXEs using various .NET and frontend tools
- Collaborate with power users and the internal IT team to comprehend MIWD business processes and objectives
- Understand the business, data, and system workflow among integrated ERP systems, quoting platforms, and enterprise applications
- Serve as a liaison with various external vendors, including Microsoft, Infor, Paradigm, and Apple
- Conduct comprehensive functional testing for developed solutions, considering system integration and data dependencies, and assist with acceptance testing for enhancements or new functionality
- Partner with diverse Business and IT teams throughout project delivery, production enhancements, and system integration
- Cooperate closely with MSI offshore teams, Config engineering, and ERP departments to ensure exceptional experiences for internal and external customers on support requests
