IT Support Specialist

- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for end user PCs, printers, and applications - Maintain and deploy scanning and printing equipment in production facilities - Image, configure, and set up new computer hardware - Use helpdesk software to monitor and manage IT requests - Update project statuses using project management software - Keep track of critical IT hardware inventory - Ensure successful completion of server backup processes - Maintain Active Directory information specific to each location - Drive IT process improvements collaboratively - Provide support for specialized software applications in manufacturing - Assist in designing and reviewing new systems for workstations - Ensure compliance of workstations with security and licensing standards - Conduct research to inform procurement and system development - Oversee the deployment of system updates and patches - Ensure new software meets functional and compliance requirements - Engage in cross-departmental projects as required - Conduct training sessions and presentations as needed - Participate in location-specific continuous improvement events - Cultivate and maintain key business relationships for project success - Develop effective practices and tools for project execution
