Requirements
Must:
- Strong hands-on experience with enterprise on-premises infrastructure
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server
- Familiarity with storage, virtualization, and hypervisors (Nutanix highly preferred)
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and performance troubleshooting
- Expertise in data center operations including power, cooling, and physical infrastructure
- Experience in lifecycle planning, capacity management, and infrastructure scaling
- Proven ability to lead technical teams while remaining engaged in hands-on tasks
- Experience in supporting audits, security initiatives, and compliance for infrastructure
- Skills in vendor management and procurement
- Background in manufacturing or multi-site enterprises is strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead and guide the IT Infrastructure team consisting of 6 direct reports across various data centers and locations
- Oversee lifecycle management for data center infrastructure encompassing servers, storage, hypervisors, networking, power, and cooling
- Promote standardization in operating system configuration, server patch management, and infrastructure deployment practices
- Design, implement, and support hyper-converged infrastructure, focusing on Nutanix (transitioning from VMware)
- Maintain and enhance enterprise services, including Active Directory, Microsoft Server services, Linux environments, and virtualization platforms
- Ensure the infrastructures availability, performance, scalability, and security
- Support security audits and compliance efforts for infrastructure systems
- Manage infrastructure projects from planning to execution and delivery
- Supervise vendor relationships, contracts, renewals, and significant capital expenditures
- Mentor and develop infrastructure team members, aligning skills with core organizational initiatives
- Take full ownership of production systems, including monitoring, documentation, and knowledge sharing

At MITER Brands, we are looking for a hands-on Manager of IT Infrastructure to lead and consolidate our infrastructure operations across multiple manufacturing sites. This crucial role focuses on the ownership of on-premises infrastructure including servers, storage, virtualization, networking, data centers, and security, aiming to standardize how our infrastructure is designed and maintained throughout the organization. We offer a competitive salary ranging from $104K to $130K, along with a target annual bonus of 10%.
