Requirements
Must:
- College degree in Computer Science or 3+ years of IT Technical Support experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including effective interaction with internal and external clients
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, emphasizing rapport building, listening, and inquiry
- Robust technical experience with Windows, Android, iOS devices, networking, printing, phone systems, and application software configuration, installation, testing, maintenance, and support
- Specific knowledge of Windows 11, Meraki networking, Dell computers, Windows Server OS, printers, and AV equipment for conference rooms
- Experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing network devices, Windows servers and workstations, as well as Active Directory
- Proven success in deploying and supporting technology
- Capability to train end users
- Competency in managing multiple tasks and balancing competing priorities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with administering Office365 accounts and supporting/provisioning Azure/AWS cloud environments
Responsibilities
- Execute IT strategies as defined by senior leadership
- Provide IT Support including Help Desk assistance, onboarding and offboarding processes
- Support day-to-day IT operations and assist with IT projects
- Communicate effectively with clients to resolve technical issues
- Build rapport and trust with users while providing exceptional customer service
- Document and track incidents for future reference
- Train users on technology operations and support solutions
- Multi-task and manage various IT demands effectively
- Work collaboratively with team members to address IT needs
Description
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to help implement our IT strategies focusing on Security, Networks, Applications, and Asset Management. This is a full-time role located in Texas City, TX, with expected working hours of 40 per week. We offer a competitive pay range of $22.71 - $27.35 per hour along with benefits including 401(k), dental and health insurance, paid time off, a referral program, and vision insurance.
