Requirements
Must:
- 3-5+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related position
- Proficient understanding of Microsoft Server environments
- Experience managing Microsoft 365 / Office 365 including administration
- Familiarity with the Counterpoint POS system is preferred
- Solid grasp of essential networking concepts like TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Capability to troubleshoot Windows-based systems and various business applications
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
- Skill in prioritizing tasks and responding swiftly in a dynamic environment
- Experience in retail or POS settings is a plus
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
- Familiarity with backup systems and disaster recovery concepts
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for all internal IT support inquiries
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues promptly
- Collaborate with external vendors or advanced IT support when necessary
- Provide assistance for Microsoft Server environments and Active Directory
- Manage and support Microsoft 365 (Office 365), overseeing user accounts, email, and permissions
- Maintain and support Counterpoint Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Install, configure, and upkeep desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Help with system updates, backups, and basic cybersecurity measures
- Document incidents, solutions, and IT procedures systematically
