Cyber Security Engineer - Information Security

- Collaborate with external SOC partners to analyze, investigate, escalate, and resolve security alerts - Oversee and respond to SaaS security alerts within cloud environments - Support MDR and EDR platforms including configuration, investigation, and mitigation - Conduct vulnerability assessments, audits, and remediation strategies - Advise clients on cybersecurity best practices for Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, and other platforms - Review and enhance endpoint, firewall, identity, and email security measures - Create effective layered security solutions tailored to client environments - Aid in incident response and investigations related to security events - Engage in client Business Technology Reviews and security planning sessions - Contribute to the development of security documentation, standards, and compliance remediation efforts - Cooperate with internal service and project teams to ensure the effective implementation of security enhancements - Assess and bolster on-premises network security, including firewalls, switches, wireless networks, and segmentation - Evaluate firewall rules, VPN configurations, and remote access security for alignment with best practices - Assist with secure network architecture, such as VLANs, access controls, and internal segmentation - Identify and address on-premises security vulnerabilities across servers, workstations, and network infrastructure - Support the secure installation and hardening of firewalls, wireless systems, and core network devices
