Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent education
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Strong proficiency in monitoring and observability tools, preferably Dynatrace
- Practical experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation
- Expertise in Kubernetes and Docker for managing containerized applications
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services for infrastructure management
- Experience with Ansible or similar automation tools
- Proven ability to automate infrastructure and operational processes using scripting languages such as Python or Bash
- Background in supporting Java applications in production environments
- Solid knowledge of both Linux and Windows system administration
- Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets
Responsibilities
- Design and implement solutions to monitor system health and performance
- Create and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
- Provide support and optimization for Java applications in live environments
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance system reliability and minimize operational tasks
- Establish best practices for incident management, capacity planning, and disaster recovery
- Utilize Azure cloud services for infrastructure setup and management
- Enhance system observability through analysis using tools like Dynatrace
- Conduct Linux and Windows system administration tasks, including patch management and troubleshooting
- Automate operational workflows and tasks using tools like Ansible or scripting languages such as Python and Bash
