Requirements
Must:
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience; typically 4+ years of relevant work experience
- 4-7+ years of experience in Windows Server administration
- 4-7+ years supporting both fat-client and web applications on Windows Server with SQL Server backends
- 3+ years supporting system integrations (web services/APIs on IIS)
- 3+ years with automated build/provisioning processes
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, etc.) for application or cloud automation
- 2+ years writing T-SQL and updating stored procedures
Responsibilities
- Act as a team leader and mentor to colleagues
- Formulate strategies to enhance application availability, performance, and overall system health
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement long-lasting solutions
- Identify and resolve recurring incidents to minimize mean time to resolution
- Assist with application deployments and DevOps workflows
- Create and optimize processes to meet SLO/SLA targets
- Develop, maintain, and automate Disaster Recovery documentation
- Manage application-related data responsibilities, including SQL queries, stored procedures, and jobs
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
- Provide documentation and evidence for annual audits
