Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience
- Proven experience in building cloud solutions and supporting cloud applications (4+ years)
- Specialization in Azure, with at least 3 years focused on Azure roles
- Experience in Azure engineering, including building, maintaining, and securing Azure resources (3-4+ years)
- Deep knowledge of Azure networking, including TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, and firewalls
- Proficiency in managing Windows Server virtual machines, with Linux experience being a plus
- Strong capabilities in PowerShell and other scripting languages
- Familiarity with security technologies, including VPNs and secure file transfer tools (SFTP/GoAnywhere)
- Ability to troubleshoot effectively using network/system diagnostic tools and methodologies
- Availability for occasional travel (up to 10%)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Kusto Query Language (KQL) is preferred
- Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and working in healthcare settings is a plus
- Ability to collaborate effectively in team and cross-functional projects
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, manage, and secure Azure resources, including compute, networking, and storage
- Develop and manage monitoring, alerting, and dashboards
- Oversee Azure policies, role-based access control (RBAC), and governance strategies
- Provide support for Azure networking, encompassing VNets, firewalls, and VPNs
- Set up and maintain Windows and Linux virtual machines along with related services
- Support web applications and associated Azure components
- Manage secure file transfer solutions, such as GoAnywhere and SFTP/FTP
- Maintain and troubleshoot enterprise systems, networks, and virtual environments
- Document cloud and network architectures and procedures
- Collaborate with DevOps and Database teams to ensure system reliability and security
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours incidents
- Conduct advanced network troubleshooting using industry-standard tools
- Provide accurate estimates for task completion and ensure follow-through to resolution
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrate self-direction, attention to detail, and proactive issue resolution
- Engage in continuous learning to familiarize with new technologies through self-study and practical experience
