Requirements
Must:
- 7+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or programming, combining both industry and academic exposure
- Bachelors degree in a technical field such as Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or related STEM majors
- Masters degree or PhD preferred
- Familiarity with optimization toolkits/libraries like CPlex, Gurobi, XPressMP, or open-source solvers (CBC, GLPK)
- Strong understanding of statistical methods, advanced modeling techniques, and optimization techniques
- Proven experience in enterprise inventory optimization or transportation optimization challenges
- Ability to effectively communicate complex results to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in the whole data stack, from data wrangling to stakeholder reporting
- In-depth knowledge of data science best practices and machine learning
- Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as SAS, R, or MATLAB
- Demonstrated object-oriented programming experience in languages such as Python, Java, C#, or VBA
- Strong foundation in fundamental statistical concepts like linear regression, A/B testing, outlier analysis, and hypothesis testing
Responsibilities
- Design and develop sophisticated stochastic models to recommend optimal actions across the supply chain
- Architect and oversee the implementation of AI/ML frameworks to enhance enterprise inventory management
- Lead the development of a comprehensive digital twin for inventory management
- Create an inventory optimization framework and multi-echelon simulation for supply chain processes
- Direct the creation of statistical simulation decision frameworks
- Develop AI/ML powered systems for continuous monitoring of the McKesson network to identify working capital opportunities
- Take charge of integrating Reinforcement Learning to establish dynamic pricing and safety stock levels
- Support stakeholders analytic requirements, gather user specifications, and facilitate adoption of solutions
- Foster business development opportunities and maintain long-term stakeholder relationships
