Lead Data Scientist (Python, Machine Learning)

- Bachelors degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering, or a related STEM discipline, or equivalent practical experience - Over 10 years of hands-on experience in data science with a focus on delivering models that drive measurable business impacts - A minimum of 4 years leading projects or small teams in a technical lead capacity - Experience in at least two relevant domains such as pricing, contracting, demand forecasting, and supply chain optimization - Proven success in cross-functional product and engineering environments - Expertise in supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, time-series analysis, and causal methods - Familiarity with LLMs/NLP preferred, along with experience in retrieval-augmented workflows - Proficient in Python and SQL, with additional proficiency in PySpark - Experience with Azure ML, MLflow, model registries, and monitoring tools like Evidently - Knowledge of Git, testing, packaging, and CI/CD pipelines - Strong understanding of feature engineering and healthcare or commercial data sets - Demonstrated compliance with enterprise cybersecurity standards and secure development lifecycle - Ability to convey complex technical results into actionable insights for executive decision-making
