Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience, with generally 4+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or modern data platforms
- Proven hands-on experience in building and maintaining data pipelines in cloud environments like Databricks, Snowflake, or similar
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience in transforming data for analytical, reporting, or product-related use cases
- Experience in integrating data from multiple internal and external systems
- Experience working with structured and semi-structured data in batch and/or streaming environments
- Familiarity with data modeling principles and data quality best practices
- Experience supporting analytics, reporting, or external-facing data applications
Responsibilities
- Design and construct data pipelines that integrate proprietary and third-party data sources to support commercial data offerings and proof-of-concept projects
- Develop, optimize, and maintain data transformation pipelines focused on scalability, reliability, and performance
- Handle structured and unstructured data to prepare enhanced datasets for both internal teams and external requirements
- Utilize SQL and/or leverage cloud-based tools such as Databricks (preferred) or Snowflake to cleanse, standardize, and transform data as per business needs
- Work closely with Product, Analytics, and external-facing teams to convert commercialization goals into scalable data solutions
- Contribute to the creation of data models and reusable pipeline patterns for future data product enhancements
- Collaborate with application and platform teams to understand upstream data flows and execute efficient pipeline solutions
- Monitor and uphold data quality, pipeline performance, and reliability of production data assets
