Requirements
Must:
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Finance, or Business
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience, with 0-2 years in a supervisory capacity
- Over 3 years of experience in data analytics
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership position or similar role
- Advanced skills (5+ years) in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Tableau
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities to convey technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
- Proven experience in process improvements and creating meaningful documentation
- Proficiency in tools like Tableau, Tableau Prep, Microsoft SQL Server, SybaseIQ, and Snowflake
- Preferred knowledge of Power BI, Miro, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
- Understanding of the patient journey in relation to access therapy and its broader implications.
Responsibilities
- Provide oversight and training for a team of data analysts, while managing project implementation and work prioritization
- Transform ambiguous requests from stakeholders into specific hypotheses, criteria, and objectives, maintaining a comprehensive perspective
- Evaluate data quality across multiple databases, collaborating with IT and Data Engineering for data correction or source creation
- Utilize appropriate analytic methods and quality checks to ensure the integrity of team outputs while recognizing data limitations
- Engage in continuous learning about best practices in business data analytics through literature, formal training, and professional development
- Leverage SQL to extract and analyze data from various databases to aid in decision-making processes for both internal and external stakeholders
- Validate and interpret data using a range of techniques, from basic aggregation through statistical analysis to complex data mining
