Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, Facility Management, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
- At least 10 years of experience in reliability, maintenance, or operations within a manufacturing setting.
- Proven ability in implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) or similar reliability-focused maintenance systems.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Track record of successfully leading maintenance teams and enhancing equipment performance in a lean manufacturing environment.
- Experience in facilitating TPM kaizens, OEE enhancement projects, or AM/PM pillar activities.
- Familiarity with CMMS (AssetEssentials or similar) and maintenance data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert on Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), championing the implementation of MCCs TPM principles (Focused Improvement, Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Early Equipment Management, and Skills Development).
- Collaborate with plant leadership to develop and execute customized TPM deployment strategies and maturity evaluations.
- Direct cross-functional kaizen initiatives to pinpoint equipment failures, address recurring issues, and enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Mentor maintenance and operations teams in root cause analysis, condition-based monitoring, and daily equipment care protocols.
- Promote Autonomous Maintenance by instructing operators on basic inspection, cleaning, and lubrication tasks to foster equipment ownership and involvement.
- Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for reliability, focusing on metrics like Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), and OEE.
- Oversee the creation and execution of comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives.
- Ensure all equipment adheres to MCCs safety, quality, and operational guidelines.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement and coordinate with engineering for necessary upgrades or replacements.
- Design and implement training programs for maintenance and production staff on TPM, equipment care, and reliability principles.
