Requirements
Must:
- Associate or bachelors degree preferred; 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination for Project Lead.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic algebra.
- Capability to draft professional reports and documentation.
- Willingness to travel and work in labeling environments with PPE.
- For Project Manager: 4-6 years in a similar role or 2-4 years in prime label manufacturing.
- Expertise in mathematics, including algebra.
- Knowledge of container types, printing, and converting technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for label application issues.
- For Technical Project Manager: Bachelors degree preferred; 7+ years in a similar role or technical prime label manufacturing.
- Significant customer-facing experience with strong relationship management.
- Advanced proficiency in mathematics and packaging technologies.
- Recognized subject matter expert in manufacturing processes and product applications.
- Proven mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills for equipment issues.
- Ability to communicate effectively in high-pressure situations.
Responsibilities
- Support customer engagement and product ideation.
- Assist in trials, documentation, and evaluations post-trial.
- Provide technical assistance and work collaboratively with internal teams.
- Maintain project trackers and related documentation.
- Participate in customer visits and internal meetings, traveling frequently (30-60%).
- Assist Sales in gathering competitive insights and identifying unmet needs.
- Lead product ideation and initial customer engagement for new products.
- Design, conduct, and document trials and experiments; perform evaluations after trials.
- Support quality, cost, and efficiency improvement projects within plants.
- Apply risk analysis and escalate non-compliance issues to the Technical Director.
- Maintain Master Tracker and ensure data integrity.
- Provide technical support to Sales and Customers in the field.
- Collaborate with equipment suppliers and internal departments to meet customer specifications.
- Research packaging trends and identify new market opportunities.
- Propose patentable ideas and collaborate on developing intellectual property.
- Partner with suppliers for non-standard materials.
- Execute other duties as assigned.
