Requirements
Must:
- 10 years of experience in data and analytics roles, with at least 5 years in project or program management
- Background in enterprise data warehouse development
- Proven project management abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Genuine enthusiasm for data and analytics platforms and their delivery
- Strong skills in relationship building and teamwork
- Familiarity with modern data and analytics tools, ideally Snowflake, Matillion, and PowerBI
- Experience in the global manufacturing or printing industry
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead projects in data and analytics utilizing Agile methodologies
- Manage the complete delivery process of global data warehouse and analytics projects using Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), ensuring continuous delivery and improvement
- Collaborate with business executives, product owners, data architects, and engineering teams to clarify project scope, goals, and success criteria
- Supervise the development, prioritization, and upkeep of the product backlog alongside the product owner
- Facilitate gathering of requirements, refinement of user stories, and definition of acceptance criteria
- Organize and conduct sprint planning sessions, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Monitor progress towards sprint objectives and address obstacles to delivery
- Inspire and motivate distributed project teams, including data engineers, analysts, QA, and other specialists
- Promote a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability
- Identify, evaluate, and proactively address project risks and challenges
- Communicate updates, dependencies, and mitigation plans to stakeholders
- Advocate for Agile best practices, process enhancement, and innovation within the data and analytics team
- Provide regular project status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries to stakeholders and leadership internationally
- Assist with organizational readiness and adoption of new data solutions through effective change management and training initiatives
- Support and guide both internal and vendor development teams
- Aid in the management of platform and delivery vendors
- Stay informed about platform advancements and actively seek to implement new features
