Requirements
Must:
- CCNA and CCNP certifications or equivalent hands-on experience preferred
- 4-5 years of experience in Network Switching
- 3-4 years of experience in Network Routing
- 2-3 years of CCNA experience desired
- 1-3 years of CCNP experience beneficial
- 2 years of experience with SD-WAN
- Proficient in various routing protocols
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to read and comprehend technical literature
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working from a step ladder
- Ability to assess issues and make decisions for resolution
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for planning, designing, maintaining, and integrating LAN/WAN infrastructure
- Install, configure, and manage network infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls
- Conduct network management functions using industry tools for troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues
- Assist in the design and planning of network architecture and enhancements
- Coordinate deployment and upgrades while supporting change management efforts
- Participate in trouble ticket resolution through Service Now and Remedy
- Document troubleshooting processes and ensure adherence to established practices
- Offer tier 2 support during significant incidents
- Communicate proactively about complex network problems and their resolutions
- Collaborate with Edge Networking teams on evaluations and recommendations for emerging technologies
- Prepare technical solutions and recommendations for network needs
- Maintain configuration standards and documentation for network components
- Support remote IT staff and agency operations with network-related issues
- Engage effectively with internal teams, vendors, and business partners
