Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience in Python programming
- Strong proficiency with SQL and data manipulation
- Experience in risk modeling or financial risk analytics systems
- Substantial background in banking or financial services
- Solid grasp of data modeling concepts and data structures
- Experience with large financial datasets and analytics processes
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Python-based applications and data processing solutions for financial and risk analytics
- Manipulate and analyze substantial datasets using SQL and Python
- Support the enhancement of risk models and analytics platforms
- Work with financial data pertinent to liquidity, risk management, and banking operations
- Apply data modeling techniques to structure and optimize financial datasets
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify risk analytics and reporting requirements
- Integrate data from various banking systems and financial data sources
- Ensure code quality through testing, documentation, and peer reviews
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and stand-ups
- Assist with troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization of data pipelines and applications
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and risk management personnel
