Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in Salesforce development including Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Flow, and platform events
- More than 3 years of experience in migrating legacy applications, adept at reading and translating VB6, .NET (C#/VB.NET), and Java code
- Strong SQL proficiency with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL, with a focus on schema design and query optimization
- Demonstrated capability in delivering REST API integrations and executing large-scale data migrations
- Practical experience with OmniStudio
- Familiarity with Salesforce Experience Cloud
- Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a public-sector, regulated setting
- Preferred: Hands-on experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions focusing on Licensing, Permitting, and Inspections (PSS LPI)
- Preferred: Background in supporting government or state agency projects
- Preferred: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant practical experience
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce-based licensing management solutions
- Transition legacy applications (VB6, .NET, Java, SQL) to the Salesforce Public Sector Solutions platform
- Convert existing legacy code and business logic into scalable Salesforce configurations
- Develop and configure Salesforce using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and platform events
- Design and implement integrations using REST APIs and middleware solutions
- Carry out extensive data migrations, ensuring data quality, integrity, and compliance
- Create and set up components within Salesforce Experience Cloud and OmniStudio
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align with regulatory and operational standards
- Assist in testing, deployment, and go-live processes
Description
We are a dedicated team supporting a State of Texas agency in modernizing its Software License Management system. This fully remote contract position allows candidates from anywhere in the United States to apply, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week.
