Requirements
Must:
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP testing, particularly in SAP implementation projects.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP functional modules such as FICO, MM, SD, HR, or similar.
- Familiarity with SAP testing and test management tools like SAP Solution Manager, HP ALM, or similar alternatives.
- Strong understanding of various testing methodologies including manual testing, regression testing, integration testing, and UAT.
- Practical experience with defect tracking and management tools such as Jira or SAP Solution Manager.
- Strong analytical skills to map complex business processes to SAP functionalities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience in managing test plans and coordinating testing efforts across diverse teams.
- Proven capability to lead, mentor, and support junior testers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive testing plans and strategies for SAP projects.
- Outline the testing scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines that align with business goals.
- Lead the design, creation, and execution of test cases across various SAP modules including FICO, MM, SD, and HR.
- Ensure extensive test coverage throughout functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and UAT phases.
- Oversee defect identification, tracking, prioritization, and resolving issues in collaboration with functional and technical teams.
- Provide regular updates on test execution status, defect metrics, and risk assessments to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with infrastructure and development teams to establish and manage SAP test environments and data.
- Lead comprehensive test execution across multiple testing cycles and ensure thorough documentation of results.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, SAP consultants, and other cross-functional teams to synchronize testing with project timelines.
- Facilitate meetings, reviews, and discussions related to testing.
- Identify opportunities to enhance testing processes, methodologies, and standards.
- Mentor junior testing resources, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
