Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Over 7 years of experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) or System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
- Proven expertise in planning and executing MECM patching initiatives
- Strong capabilities in deploying applications across various systems and environments
- Practical experience with SQL Server (2008, 2012, 2016) and Windows operating systems (Windows 7, Windows 10)
- Proficient in scripting/programming languages such as SQL, Java, JavaScript, VBScript, VB.NET, ASP, ASP.NET, C, HTML, XML, PowerShell, InstallShield, WiseScript, or similar
- Experience in migrating and installing application code across both testing and production environments
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Cisco technologies, Active Directory, server management, and virtualization
- History of managing enterprise software distribution infrastructure
- Excellent documentation and technical writing skills
- Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Responsibilities
- Manage and support the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) infrastructure within enterprise settings
- Install, uninstall, reconfigure, and troubleshoot MECM/ConfigMgr clients
- Monitor client health status, adjust Client Health settings, and implement remediation procedures
- Plan and execute MECM patching initiatives and system upgrades
- Migrate and install application code across development, testing, training, acceptance, and production environments
- Update and maintain JCL, CLIST, and Dialog Manager scripts to facilitate software migrations
- Document migration and installation tasks using Online Software Release Form (OSRF) and audit tools
- Assist with DevOps processes utilizing Agile practices and tools such as Urban Code Deploy (UCD), OpenShift, and Jenkins
- Deploy application modules across diverse systems and platforms, including CICS, DB2, WebSphere, Liberty (z/OS), Linux, and Windows
- Support site-to-site package distribution, disaster recovery, and backup strategies within MECM
- Build, configure, manage, and troubleshoot the enterprise software distribution infrastructure
- Maintain SharePoint documentation and standard operating procedures
- Install and manage HFS and ZFS file systems for UNIX System Services
- Support WebSphere Application Server (WAS), WebSphere MQ, and Java applications in Linux and cloud platforms
- Participate in DevOps meetings focused on continuous migration and testing strategies
- Provide trend analysis, console alerts, and health evaluations of Configuration Manager tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply complex system upgrades and enhance infrastructure
