Requirements
Must:
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, AI solution development, or similar technical positions
- Demonstrated expertise in large language models (LLMs), agentic AI systems, and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
- Practical experience in creating AI solutions using AWS Bedrock, including prompt engineering, RAG, and enterprise integration
- Solid background with Snowflake and AWS services such as Glue, S3, Lambda, SageMaker, and associated tools
- Proven track record of delivering AI and data solutions within financial services or mortgage sectors
- Strong comprehension of cloud-native architectures, AI/ML frameworks, and data pipeline development
- Excellent communication skills with a talent for simplifying complex technical ideas for non-technical audiences
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Responsibilities
- Direct the architecture, design, development, and deployment of large-scale AI and data engineering solutions that meet business goals
- Create and implement LLM-based and agentic AI workflows for automation, analytics, and decision-making support
- Design and execute AI solutions utilizing frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and n8n for orchestration and workflow automation
- Develop, integrate, and oversee Model Context Protocol (MCP) solutions for scalable, context-aware AI systems
- Construct and refine secure data pipelines utilizing AWS and Snowflake for both structured and unstructured data
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including technology, business, risk, legal, and compliance personnel
- Ensure that solutions adhere to regulatory, security, and compliance standards pertinent to financial services
- Remain updated on emerging AI, data engineering, and cloud advancements to foster continuous innovation
- Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

We are U.S. Financial Technology (U.S. FinTech), seeking a highly skilled Lead AI and Data Solutions Engineer to join our remotely operating team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on the worlds most sophisticated mortgage securitization platform, enabling the Uniform Mortgage-Backed Security (UMBS) for entities such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. We pride ourselves on driving innovation in agentic AI systems, large language models, and cloud-native data solutions. Our ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical leader with extensive AWS and Snowflake experience, complemented by strong knowledge within the financial domain.
