Requirements
Must:
- 10+ years of comprehensive software development experience.
- 7 to 10 years of direct experience with Java/J2EE technologies, including Servlets, JSP, and JDBC.
- Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and REST/JSON-based web services.
- Experience working with Java JDK 17.
- 7 to 10 years of experience with relational databases such as Sybase, SQL Server, MySQL, and/or DB2.
- Solid understanding of SQL and database design principles.
- 3 to 5 years of experience with build, deployment, and CI/CD tools including Gradle, Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Eclipse.
- Practical experience with AWS, EKS, and Rancher.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in designing and executing JUnit test cases using the Mockito framework.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Engage business users to gather requirements and transform them into technical designs and solutions.
- Design, develop, and enhance Java/J2EE applications using Java JDK 17 and Spring Boot.
- Construct and maintain RESTful web services utilizing JSON-based APIs.
- Conduct application prototyping and provide high-level technical consultation.
- Anticipate and analyze the impact of configuration changes on application performance.
- Identify application bottlenecks and propose strategies for performance optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners to deliver solutions within tight deadlines.
- Assist in resolving production issues and meet ad-hoc business requests within the I&CM division.
- Build, manage, and deploy applications utilizing modern CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms.
