Requirements
Must:
- Extensive knowledge of Network Security & Authentication practices
- Proficient hands-on experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for AAA services and 802.1X network access control
- Familiarity with firewall and security management solutions such as Algosec, Cisco Firepower, and Fortinet
- Strong grasp of authentication protocols, including TACACS+ and RADIUS
- Experience in Automation & Scripting with tools like Ansible, Python, Terraform, and REST APIs
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies for enhancing network security operations
- Proven troubleshooting skills for complex network access and authentication challenges
- Strong analytical abilities, along with experience in system monitoring and escalation support
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a global enterprise context
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee firewall security management systems, including:
- Cisco ISE authentication servers
- Firewall policy compliance tools (Algosec)
- Firewall management frameworks
- Administer and provide support for the global Cisco ISE platform, delivering AAA services while enforcing 802.1X access control across both wired and wireless networks
- Assist the network privileged identity framework to ensure secure access to enterprise network devices
- Collaborate with network, security, and endpoint teams to guarantee smooth policy integration and enforcement
- Identify and implement automation solutions to minimize manual tasks using Ansible, Python, Terraform, and REST APIs
- Create and maintain Ansible playbooks for the deployment of automation solutions
- Monitor system performance, logs, and health, responding to alerts and security incidents
- Handle platform change requests and engage in change management processes
- Provide escalation support and participate in on-call duty rotations
- Evaluate security advisories and vulnerabilities to implement necessary remediation
