Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- CISSP or an equivalent information security certification (required within 24 months of hire)
- 6–8 years of professional experience in a cybersecurity-related position
- Proficient in secure coding practices and code review
- Familiar with Check Point, Fortinet, and Palo Alto firewall engineering
- Skilled in Zscaler administration and troubleshooting
- Knowledgeable in serverless and container-based computing
- Experience with cloud infrastructure & administration (AWS/Azure)
- Ability to conduct static and dynamic application security testing
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, and routing
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows (Server & Desktop)
- Competent in vulnerability assessment and remediation
- Experience in Linux/UNIX environments
- Knowledge of identity and access management
- Familiarity with Oracle or other SQL databases
- Project management experience
- Excellent ability to translate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Experience in developing policies, standards, and proposals
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Highly effective in relationship-building, collaboration, coaching, and influencing
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and Information Security management to embed security principles into new and existing technologies, platforms, and applications
- Design, develop, and implement security architectures that align with business objectives, balancing protection, cost efficiency, and user experience
- Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend strategic remediation actions
- Support the execution and continuous enhancement of our Information Security Program, including policies, strategy, and process adjustments
- Provide hands-on expertise in areas such as AWS cloud migrations, firewall administration, and application/system vulnerability management
