Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent professional knowledge in a relevant field
- 4–6 years of applicable experience in analytics, reporting, or data roles
- Preferably have experience in Claims and Insurance environments, including knowledge of claims data and operations
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, analysis, and dataset creation
- Basic to intermediate skills in Python for analytics, automation, or modeling tasks
Responsibilities
- Create datasets utilized as foundational sources for various reports and data marts
- Conduct exploratory analysis, data manipulation, or data modeling for deliverables
- Lead or facilitate meetings to transform business requirements into well-defined, documented, high-quality specifications for future reporting and visualizations
- Provide consultative support to cross-functional teams and external departments that handle data
- Assist in the creation of complex ad hoc reports
- Utilize critical thinking and discretion in analysis, planning, and execution of essential business initiatives
- Offer actionable recommendations based on thorough analysis of requested data
- Implement data best practices to ensure the quality and accessibility of assembled datasets
