Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors Degree in International Relations, Military Studies, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in wargaming, military modeling, and simulation. Alternatively, at least 10 years of relevant experience if no degree is held. - Proficiency in graphic design and layout software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, PowerPoint) to create professional-grade player aids and materials. - Ability to rapidly learn and proficiently use new software-based modeling and simulation tools. - Experience in developing player-facing products, reference materials, or game mechanics manuals. - Prepared to provide examples of previous product development work, such as reference guides and branded content.

Responsibilities

- Design and create high-quality physical player aids and reference guides, transitioning them into interactive digital formats. - Develop, operate, maintain, and archive simulation databases with government-provided modeling and simulation tools to support tabletop and digital exercises during wargame execution. - Create interfaces for modeling and simulation tools for gameplay, articulating complex technical outputs into accessible narratives for senior decision-makers. - Act as a bridge between analog play and digital environments, promoting the capabilities and usage of new tools to facilitate the customers digital advancement. - Collaborate with analysts to develop tools for capturing player decisions and telemetry across various formats, ensuring comprehensive data for post-game analysis. - Work with designers and developers to refine mechanics that represent Marine Corps capabilities accurately while remaining intuitive for senior stakeholders, overseeing game design testing and evaluation prior to gameplay.
