Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Python software engineer with a solid background in either backend or frontend development, full stack preferred.
- Experience collaborating within a development team, familiar with software version control and cooperative tools.
- Capability to design multi-application solutions that merge various software functionalities.
- Some experience with System Orchestration concepts and developing orchestration capabilities or integrating with existing ones.
- Familiarity with Linux Administration or strong knowledge of Linux environments is essential.
- Knowledge of full-stack development, including database and API interaction (preferred).
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles (preferred).
- Experience with public cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) (preferred).
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware vSphere) (preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities with a methodical approach to technical issues (preferred).
- Foundational knowledge of traditional Systems Administration practices (preferred).
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement full-stack applications using Python (Django/FastAPI) for RESTful APIs and modern JavaScript frameworks for the user interface, focusing on data serialization and state management.
- Collaborate effectively by utilizing rigorous version control practices with Git, including complex merges, rebasing, and conducting peer code reviews to uphold high-quality standards in our CI/CD pipeline.
- Create integrated solutions with custom middleware to align data across diverse systems via webhooks, message queues, and standardized API protocols.
- Develop automated deployment scripts and service discovery mechanisms to manage distributed applications across containerized environments.
- Execute system optimization and use Bash for automation tasks related to managing package dependencies, network settings, and kernel-level permissions across production server environments.
