Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field, with at least 10 years of related experience OR a Masters degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience OR a PhD with at least 2 years of relevant experience
- Over 10 years of experience providing engineering and analytical support throughout the design, development, testing, production, fielding, and maintenance of cost-effective RF systems
- Strong understanding of RF engineering concepts including linearity, Noise Figure, Gain, RF Amplifiers, and VSWR
- Proficiency with RF modeling tools such as ADS or AWR Microwave Office for circuit design and analysis, and Ansys HFSS or Dassault CST for HF component design
- Experience in RF modeling of systems, subsystems, and assemblies, recommending enhancements or identifying issues for further investigation, and collaborating with test design engineers to develop and validate test fixtures and protocols for RF circuit card assemblies
- Active and current Secret clearance with the capability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance
- Ability to remain stationary for up to 50% of the time
- Effective communication skills required for interactions with colleagues, management, and clients, including delivering presentations
- Proficient in operating a computer and various office productivity equipment, such as calculators, copiers, and printers.
Responsibilities
- Offer programming and technical support to customer leadership
- Strategize and implement technology advancement throughout the R&D lifecycle
- Convert user requirements into comprehensive system needs and technical specifications
- Act as an advisor during acquisition source selection processes
- Conduct technical evaluations and assessments of Advanced RF technology development activities, which include studies and the development of hardware, firmware, and software at levels including component, subsystem, system, and architecture
- Identify technology deficiencies, develop technology advancement and transition strategies, and specify requirements and specifications
- Generate documents and presentations to convey program status and strategic direction
- Assist in programmatic, acquisition, and source selection procedures
- Be prepared for travel at least 20% of the time.
