Security Analyst - Cybersecurity Focus

- Process and oversee documentation and programs related to information security, operational security, physical security, and industrial security. - Provide assistance to the government security personnel in managing their collateral, Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) responsibilities, which include document control, visitor management, and information security tasks such as data transfers and physical security measures. - Aid in developing, applying, directing, and scrutinizing policies, instructions, procedures, and control systems to thwart the compromise or loss of classified information or materials. - Evaluate and ensure correctness of security clearance applications, while assisting in physical security assessments, surveys, and inspections. - Prepare classified documentation for mailing as per the relevant Department of Defense regulations, including markings, receipts, wrapping, and tracking procedures. - Manage the preparation of visit authorization requests (VARs) for both incoming and outgoing communications. - Offer security support for conferences by processing VARs, verifying participant clearances, transporting classified materials, and providing on-site assistance.
