Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline; alternatively, an additional 5 years of experience may substitute for a degree.
- Over 14 years of experience in systems engineering.
- Expertise in engineering and managing VMware virtualized infrastructure.
- 7 years of combined experience in:
- Designing and implementing Cisco networks and Windows Server environments in both classified and unclassified settings.
- Architecting and configuring secure systems, servers, and network enclaves.
- Providing systems engineering expertise, including design, software deployment, and troubleshooting for workstations and servers.
- Active/Current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
- Proficiency in multi-platform environments including VMware, Linux/UNIX, and Windows Server (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements, operational concepts, and system architectures to create comprehensive system specifications.
- Lead system design and development activities, assisting users in formulating requirements and evaluating alternative solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture and design documents, engineering management plans, and integration/testing plans.
- Ensure the technical quality of systems engineering deliverables while managing the system baseline during its lifecycle.
- Oversee the development, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems and networks, including requirements analysis and interface standards.
- Assist with compliance to system security and the implementation of security controls for networks and equipment.
- Lead or assist in troubleshooting and repairing systems and network components, including routers, switches, servers, virtual machines, and workstations.
