Requirements
Must:
- We require a bachelors degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma with 8+ years, or an associate degree with 6+ years, or a masters degree with 2+ years, or a PhD with no prior experience.
- We prefer candidates with two years of position-specific, directly applicable experience.
- We value a background in systems engineering concepts and technical subject matter expertise.
- We look for hands-on experience in risk management and oversight across the full project lifecycle.
- We require U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance.
- We require eligibility for Special Access Program access.
- We require willingness to undergo a counterintelligence-focused polygraph.
- We require continued compliance with DoD 8140 standards.
- We may require additional security screening.
- We need candidates with practical technical knowledge of small office network setup, including connector types and separation requirements.
- We require the ability to meet the physical demands of an office-based role, including remaining stationary for extended periods, moving around the workspace as needed, operating office equipment, and communicating clearly with coworkers, leadership, and customers.
Responsibilities
- We manage cost, schedule, and performance for small to medium technical modernization efforts and provide management with recommendations and status updates.
- We coordinate with contracting, engineering, and logistics specialists to translate needs into clear, concise requirements that align the customer and development teams.
- We apply risk mitigation methods to address technical gaps and emerging issues, using systems engineering practices for ICON TDL efforts.
- We identify, rank, and track critical technical data needed for TDL planning in partnership with stakeholders.
- We create and maintain processes for accessing and updating technical direction information.
- We conduct assessments and lead program-level review boards.
- We monitor work quality, mentor junior team members, and help resolve cost and schedule concerns with Regional Site Managers.
- We develop and deliver digital transformation, modernization, and modification efforts in line with approved Technical Direction Plans.
- We gather, document, analyze, and manage requirements throughout the full development lifecycle.
- We collaborate closely with clients, end users, and development teams to ensure final deliverables meet expectations.
