Requirements

Must:
- Over 7 years of experience in Threat Analysis, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to Technical Threat Analysis or cyber investigations. - Must possess or obtain certification as per DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance (IA) requirements within one year of assignment, including IA II certification. - Credentialed graduate from an accredited federal or DoD CI training academy (desired). - Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field (desired). - Postgraduate degree in a STEM discipline (desired). - Strong understanding of foreign adversaries’ security and intelligence services, and threats to the US Government. - Proven ability to translate Government vision into clear and achievable objectives. - Experience coaching and guiding team members to meet goals (desired). - Capability to monitor and assess progress toward defined objectives (desired).

Responsibilities

- Create timely and actionable intelligence reports regarding technical counterintelligence (CI) and cyber threats, which include 36 weekly updates, 8 monthly threat assessments, and 3 quarterly analysis reports, integrating data from the Technical CI team, network security personnel, and comprehensive intelligence sources. - Play a key role in the annual CI Cyber Branch Threat Assessment by providing thorough input based on collected reports, Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs), and both raw and finished intelligence, while presenting analytical findings and identifying intelligence gaps. - Generate a minimum of nine high-quality Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs) annually, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and relevance, and fulfilling IC priority collection needs in a timely manner. - Investigate anomalous activities utilizing automated tools such as M3, Palantir, TAC, ARCSIGHT, RSA Security Analytics, CCD, QLIX, TIDE, or Criss.
