Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Four (4) years of additional relevant experience can be substituted for a bachelors degree
- An associates degree in a related field plus two (2) years of relevant experience can substitute for a bachelors degree
- AWS Cloud Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) may substitute for 0.5 years of experience
- CompTIA Security+, ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Network+, or CompTIA A+ may substitute for 1 year of experience
- Advanced certifications like AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305) may substitute for 2 years of experience
- Additional relevant certifications may substitute for 0.5 years of experience
- Proven experience in Linux system administration including command-line management and networking
- Experience in Kubernetes environments, focusing on container management and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with ticketing, alerting, and incident response tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical issues to diverse audiences
- Ability to manage and resolve multiple incidents effectively under pressure
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and document complex support tickets via ServiceNow, phone, and email, ensuring compliance with SLAs
- Monitor and triage incidents triggered by automated alerts, following established SOPs and runbooks for resolution
- Solving technical issues related to Linux and Kubernetes independently, escalating only when necessary
- Collaborate with product and backend engineers to reproduce issues, confirm fixes, and improve system documentation
- Analyze trends in support incidents, providing structured feedback to engineering and improvement teams
- Deliver exceptional, mission-critical support to government and enterprise clients, maintaining professional communication during incidents
- Contribute to the enhancement of documentation, runbooks, and response protocols to boost service reliability and efficiency
- Required to work a night shift from 10 PM to 6 AM, including rotating weekends as needed based on business requirements
