Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a related field with one (1) year of experience in managing and supporting enterprise environments. Alternatively, a total of five (5) years of professional enterprise service experience without a degree.
- Solid understanding of COMSEC principles and practices.
- Familiarity with National Security Agency (NSA) policies and accounting procedures necessary for coordinating client requirements and addressing COMSEC issues.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Preferred: 4 years in customer service, administrative support, or asset management roles.
- Preferred: 4 years as a COMSEC custodian.
- Preferred: Security+ certification.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with a current/active TS/SCI clearance.
- Must be willing and able to undergo a polygraph examination.
- Physical capacity to remain stationary 50% of the time and occasionally lift and move hardware weighing up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Apply Information Assurance expertise and knowledge to both network and enterprise security.
- Implement and adhere to established best practices security methodologies.
- Demonstrate functional expertise in information assurance technologies such as Vulnerability and Threat Assessments, Network Intrusion Detection, Secure Operations, Firewall Design && Deployment, Public Key Encryption, and Virtual Private Networks.
- Provide COMSEC helpdesk support for client personnel during normal working hours and in emergency situations.
- Engage and communicate with various levels of management and staff concerning Information Assurance services.
- Maintain and revise the clients COMSEC Policy Guide and Standard Operating Procedures; conduct semi-annual inventories of COMSEC sub-accounts.
- Organize and execute compliance audits and inspections on the clients COMSEC accounts.
- Deliver COMSEC Access Briefings and debriefings upon client requests.
