Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, information technology, or a related technical discipline, or a comparable combination of education and experience. - More than 5 years of experience in managing substantial low voltage technology installation projects. - Experience in troubleshooting network and low voltage systems is essential. - Preferred: Low Voltage certification. - Proficient understanding of Wi-Fi networking fundamentals, including configuration, design, and management solutions. - Familiarity with industry standards and regulations concerning low voltage installations. - Ability to interpret technical requirements and diagrams effectively. - Strong project management skills for documenting, organizing, prioritizing, and overseeing installations to meet deadlines. - Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information to non-IT audiences. - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. - Excellent customer service skills for troubleshooting and optimizing technical challenges. - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. - Detail-oriented with both qualitative and quantitative analytical skills. - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). - Capacity to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion. - Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50%) for on-site property visits.

Responsibilities

- Oversee and coordinate the installation of large-scale low voltage property technology solutions, including managed Wi-Fi, package lockers, access control systems, and security cameras, from initiation to completion. - Collaborate on a frequent basis with IT departments, project management office resources, and vendors for managed Wi-Fi installations across various locations in our portfolio. Address and resolve critical issues with on-site property management. - Create and maintain installation project timelines to ensure that all objectives and deadlines are met. Partner with project management resources to assist with all technical facets of managed installation projects. - Develop, maintain, and disseminate project status reports to relevant internal stakeholders, including IT, asset management, and project management office. - Travel regularly to conduct on-site visits for monitoring project progress and addressing any issues that surface. - Troubleshoot and resolve network and low voltage challenges to guarantee optimal system performance. - Ensure adherence to company standards for low voltage systems, the National Electrical Code (NEC), and applicable federal, state, or local regulations. - Continuously update technical knowledge and expertise through ongoing education and training. - Carry out additional related duties as assigned to support the business needs.
