Requirements
Must:
- Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or an Information Assurance degree.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, including at least 5 years developing system software in varied, multi-platform environments.
- Expertise in SE Linux configuration, policy, MAC labeling, and debugging policy challenges.
- Proficient in Bourne/Bash and Expect scripting.
- Skilled in analyzing Linux kernel issues using source code, system logs, and tools like crash or systemtap.
- Experience managing Satellite repositories for patching and custom kernel builds.
- Understanding of automation tools like Ansible and Satellite Server for system configuration.
- Familiarity with identity management systems such as LDAP.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to debug and maintain existing scripts effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize and multitask efficiently.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical support teams and management.
Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and sustain integrated Red Hat Enterprise Linux/SE Linux Mandatory Access Control configurations across various systems and networks.
- Collaborate with the Dev/Sec/Ops automation team to implement RHEL SE Linux MLS configurations.
- Partner with the security team to ensure compliance with RMF, RTB, and other security guidelines.
- Optimize system high-performance computing (HPC) to minimize performance impacts.
- Utilize best practices in software engineering to deliver projects punctually and of high quality.
- Assist staff and end users in resolving issues related to deployed configurations.
- Modify existing software to rectify errors and enhance performance.
- Ensure that InfiniBand high-speed fabrics operate correctly with MAC labeling.
- Verify that MLS networking adheres to control specifications.
