Requirements
Must:
- Active Top Secret SCI clearance.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficient in distributed computing frameworks for large-scale data processing.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud environments.
- Familiarity with datastores such as PostgreSQL, S3, Redshift, MongoDB/DynamoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and SQL.
- Strong command of Python and its libraries, including pandas, PySpark, NiFi, Airflow, or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of software platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, JMS/SQS, SNS, and Kafka.
- Experience in Linux/Unix server environments.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Ability to publish or present design reports.
- Collaboration skills to coordinate project milestones with team members.
- Experience with collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities
- Identify and implement internal process enhancements, including redesigning infrastructure for improved scalability.
- Develop and design data pipelines to facilitate end-to-end solutions.
- Maintain documentation related to schemas, data dictionaries, and ETL processes.
- Integrate data pipelines with AWS cloud services to derive actionable insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address their data infrastructure needs and troubleshoot data-related issues.
- Create and develop efficient data flows to support raw and transformed data.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for deployed applications and dataflows.
- Communicate a clear product vision aligning with user needs and business goals.
- Create and manage product roadmaps that reflect innovation and growth.
- Work alongside a government product owner and a team of 7-8 full-time employees.
- Partner with the data engineering team to design and launch new features.
- Document and coordinate dataflows and capabilities.
- Occasionally support off-hours deployments as necessary, including evenings or weekends.
