Requirements
Must:
- We seek individuals with a college diploma in Computer Science or a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field).
- You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with confirmed expertise in .NET and Java.
- Practical experience with SQL Server and Oracle is essential.
- Experience in developing and maintaining applications within Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) is required.
- You must be proficient in both spoken and written French.
- Residency in Quebec with Canadian nationality, permanent residency, or a valid work permit is necessary.
- Mastery of C#, ASP.NET, and Java, along with their associated frameworks (.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Spring, Hibernate), is expected.
- A deep understanding of RESTful web services and communication protocols is fundamental.
- You should have hands-on experience with relational databases, particularly SQL Server and Oracle, including schema design, complex queries, and optimization.
- Proficiency in development tools and source code management systems like Visual Studio, IntelliJ, Git, and Azure DevOps is required.
- A good knowledge of cloud development standards is preferred.
- Strong expertise in object-oriented design, design patterns, and best coding practices is expected.
Responsibilities
- You will design, develop, and maintain robust and secure applications primarily using C#, ASP.NET, and Java.
- Analyze technical requirements, propose suitable solutions, and assist in defining specifications.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to translate requirements into software solutions.
- Use Agile development methodologies to plan and execute development iterations.
- Apply security measures in accordance with government standards, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and threat protection.
- Participate in evaluating and integrating new technologies to optimize development processes.
- Contribute to code quality, performance, and technical documentation.
Description
This position is a full-time, fixed-term role lasting 36 months, offering a salary between $45,000 and $55,000 per year. Benefits include dental insurance, supplementary health insurance, and the option to work from home.
