Requirements

Must:
- Associates degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience - A+, N+ and Microsoft Certified Professional + Internet (MCP+I) certifications or equivalent experience preferred - 1-2 years of experience in administration of workstation support within a network setting - Exceptional oral and written communication skills - Strong customer service abilities - Proficiency in Microsoft System Center - Experience with Print Management - Ability to run diagnostic programs to resolve issues - Capability to guide customers through problem-solving steps - Skills in hardware and software analysis and problem resolution - Basic knowledge of Windows-based PC computing and troubleshooting - Fundamental understanding of networking concepts - Experience with onboarding and offboarding of end-users - Familiarity with Microsoft Office suites - Sensitivity to the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of our service population

Responsibilities

- Serve as the initial point of contact for technical assistance and support inquiries - Troubleshoot computer systems, software, and hardware issues - Install, manage, and maintain all hardware and software - Enforce security and anti-virus protocols on agency workstations - Document procedures, system policies, and software configurations - Maintain incident logs of downtime and issues - Recommend and schedule necessary repairs - Stay informed about new and existing technologies to utilize the most effective solutions - Build a network of hardware and software experts for problem-solving and consulting - Provide both on-site and online support to users - Assess and advise on the procurement of related hardware and software - Collaborate with the Help Desk Supervisor to develop implementation plans for assigned tasks
