Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 2-4 years of professional experience in software development
- Proficiency in Java programming
- Experience with basic database queries and PL/SQL programming
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance
- Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus
- Experience in front-end user interface design and development is advantageous
- Familiarity with application servers like Apache Tomcat is preferred
- Awareness of Oracle databases
- Experience working with integrated development environments (IDEs) such as Eclipse
- Exposure to agile or iterative development methodologies
- Strong enthusiasm for learning and expanding skills in cloud technologies and integrating Generative AI into software development
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug application software
- Engage in software research and collaborate with team members
- Analyze user requirements and evaluate system capabilities
- Address issues and ensure software compliance with quality standards
- Plan and execute software development processes from conception to deployment
- Create and manage technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle
