Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Distribution, Logistics Management, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in engineering, IT, operations, project management, or UAT within a multi-unit setting
- At least 2 years of experience collaborating with design or development teams, both internal and external, as well as working directly with third-party software vendors
- 3 years of knowledge in distribution support methods and operational procedures
- Preferred: 3 years of experience on projects that involve implementing software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Preferred: 3 years of experience conducting UAT on corrected defects and providing UAT sign-offs for system updates
Responsibilities
- Interpret, analyze, and prioritize business requirements while configuring the product, planning and executing UAT, and managing change and training activities for enterprise initiatives
- Act as the subject matter expert during the development of business requirements and solutions for all WMS initiatives, projects, enhancements, and upgrades
- Conduct detailed work stream analyses to ensure business and solution requirements are accurately represented during development phases
- Develop thorough test plans based on business solution designs and schedule detailed test case development and execution
- Collaborate with the SC Initiatives Consultant-Systems, Product Management, and IT Leads to integrate UAT test plans into the final master test plan for initiatives, projects, enhancements, or upgrades
- Maintain a catalog of detailed test cases for execution once new business solutions are deployed
- Analyze defects to identify root causes of failures, assess severity, and evaluate potential impacts on UAT schedules
- Provide alternative recommendations to minimize or eliminate delays caused by solution defects
- Create comprehensive end-user documentation for business stakeholders about the configuration and use of new WMS functionalities
- Partner with business stakeholders to analyze production defects reported by software users and deliver detailed analyses to the Production Management and IT Solutions Leads for quicker system restoration
- Conduct UAT on all corrected defects and provide UAT sign-offs for system updates
