Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Over 3 years of experience in automated software testing, ideally within the medical device sector
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and tools
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python or C# (preferred)
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., TestComplete)
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
- Must reside in the MA area; relocations are not available
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain automated test frameworks and scripts for software related to medical devices
- Design and execute automated test cases to assess software functionality, performance, and reliability
- Collaborate with software developers and other stakeholders to determine test requirements and guarantee thorough test coverage
- Analyze test outcomes, pinpoint defects, and work alongside the development team to address issues
- Continuously enhance and refine automated testing processes and tools
- Document testing procedures, results, and any discrepancies from expected outcomes
- Keep abreast of the latest innovations in software testing technologies and practices
Description
We are Lotus Technical, and we are excited to offer a 12+ month contract opportunity for a Software Automation Test Engineer at a reputable medical device manufacturing company located in Westford, MA.
