Cisco Managed Services Support Engineer

- Provide both remote and on-site technical support to managed services customers, ensuring superior network performance and reliability - Design, implement, and support Cisco-based network infrastructure solutions including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points - Conduct network assessments, capacity planning, and design reviews to ensure client networks align with current and future business requirements - Proactively monitor client networks to detect and resolve potential issues before they disrupt operations, using various network management tools - Troubleshoot and resolve intricate network problems, collaborating with internal teams and vendors to provide timely solutions - Configure and manage network security solutions including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems (IPS) - Aid in network upgrades, patches, and lifecycle management, ensuring minimal downtime and client disruption - Work together with other engineers and technical teams to support large-scale network deployments and projects - Maintain and revise documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures - Offer on-call support and assist during network-related emergencies outside regular business hours - Mentor and train junior engineers while providing technical guidance to clients and internal teams
