Entry-Level Software Developer

We are in search of a driven Junior Software Developer to assist in executing a vital integration project: “One Red integration into HydroData and ProducerConnect.” This role will include engaging with both backend and frontend components to connect these systems, improving data flow for our agricultural SaaS platform. As a project-based hire, you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a high-impact initiative, with the potential for transitioning to a permanent role if the project is extended based on its success and business requirements. This is an 8-month engagement commencing on November 1, 2025, where you will develop in a collaborative Agile environment utilizing tools such as Jira and Git. We prefer candidates who possess foundational experience in JavaScript and the React framework for UIs and/or Go for backend services, with a passion for addressing integration challenges in data-intensive domains. Your employment will be project-based and at-will, tied to the successful completion of the “One Red integration into HydroData and ProducerConnect” project. While the role is expected to last around eight months, it may end sooner or extend based on project milestones. We retain the option to extend your project duration or convert this role into a regular position depending on business needs, project extensions, funding, and individual performance, with any changes communicated in writing at least 30 days prior to the expected project end date. All intellectual property developed during your employment will belong to Longitude 103, and a standard NDA will be required.
