Requirements
Must:
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of the Property & Casualty Insurance domain (including Auto, Home, and Umbrella)
- Familiarity with Rally or similar project management tools
- Practical experience in ETL testing and data validation
- Deep understanding of ETL architecture and data pipelines
- Proficient in advanced SQL (joins, aggregations, and complex queries)
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) in data-focused projects
Responsibilities
- Validate source-to-target mappings and business rules
- Conduct data reconciliation between source and target systems
- Verify ETL transformations, including aggregations, calculations, and derivations
- Perform comprehensive end-to-end data validation from Source to Staging to Target
- Ensure adherence to Property & Casualty domain regulations
- Collaborate with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to guarantee data accuracy
- Develop and uphold test strategies, test cases, and validation checklists
- Design and implement tests for comprehensive, incremental, delta, and historical data loads
- Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, reconciliation, and smoke tests
- Log, track, and analyze defects; assist in resolution with development teams
- Validate fixes and prepare data quality/test reports
