Software Developer .Net

We currently have an opening for a Senior C# Developer with some Java experience in Washington, DC. This position supports the development of innovative C# and J2EE applications for the United States Postal Service. Remote work is possible at this time, however, if USPS decides to eliminate remote options, everyone will be required to work from the USPS headquarters in DC. Candidates must qualify for a government security investigation relevant to sensitive information access, maintain USPS Public Trust Clearance, and be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder who has resided in the U.S. for at least the past five years. Candidates should not have been outside the United States for more than 180 days during the last five years. A pre-employment background check and drug test are also part of the hiring process. This job is full-time on a W2 contract basis and is projected for a duration of 12+ months. We have been engaged with this project for over 20 years, and candidates are expected to reside in the DMV area. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, consisting of 8-hour shifts.
