Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Cisco Certified Network Professional certification or equivalent
- Strong understanding of networking principles such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
- Familiarity with networking devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- Experience utilizing network monitoring tools like Wireshark, SNMP, and NetFlow
- Knowledge of network security fundamentals including firewalls, VPN, and access control
- Understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with network architects to design and establish functional company networks
- Install and configure networking hardware
- Develop and implement network security protocols
- Manage and mentor junior Network Engineering personnel
- Delegate networking maintenance responsibilities to junior staff
- Address escalated network support issues
- Anticipate potential network problems or bottlenecks and propose solutions
