Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: C++, Java, Go, Rust, or Python
- Familiarity with messaging protocols such as Kafka, ActiveMQ, ZeroMQ, Data Distribution Service, or Zenoh
- Experience with DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins CI/CD
- Possession of a Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
- Masters Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Knowledge of communication protocols like REST or gRPC
- Experience with Test-Driven Development for both unit and system/acceptance levels
- Proficiency in software orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Helm, etc.)
- Knowledge of microservices and microservice architectures
- Experience in developing software for defense mission systems
- Familiarity with real-time embedded software engineering
- Experience with hardware-accelerated computing for both CPUs and GPUs
- Knowledge of model deployment software libraries such as TensorRT or OnnxRuntime
- Experience deploying AI systems in cloud or edge environments
- Familiarity with high-performance computing
- Experience interfacing with databases (SQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Leadership experience in guiding engineers or small teams
- Familiarity with transitioning prototype software into production processes
- Top Secret / SCI Clearance is a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative software products incorporating Artificial Intelligence to offer advanced capabilities to our clients.
- Engage in all aspects of the system development lifecycle, covering requirements gathering, design, implementation, integration, and testing.
- Involve in various activities ranging from proof of concepts, prototype development to building demonstrators and assisting with production transition.
- Utilize current computer science methodologies, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms to craft solutions for complex issues.
- Implement concurrency techniques (both threaded and multi-processing) and possess understanding of I/O operations (block storage network database).
- Assume leadership responsibilities, offering mentorship to junior engineers as necessary.
